Welcome to our family's website created to honor and celebrate the lives of Steve and Jan Wright. Soar High, Fly Free are powerful words my parents lived by in their live adventures and which we worked together as a family to choose for their gravestone in the wake of losing our mom, Jan.
We lost Jan on January 17, 2015 to myelofibrosis, and we lost Steve on January 4, 2021 to COVID-19. Their lives mattered and we seek and strive to honor their memory in all we do.
This website will first focus on Steve: it will function as a central landing place in the wake of his death, where you can find updates on his Celebration of Life we are holding March 5, 2022, as well as a place to view photos, read memories, his obituary, and other pertinent information.
We are grateful for your presence in our lives as we find our way through a world without our oak.
